This has been hard. Although I suppose I should be grateful. My body is doing the work and I am not in great pain. We have been talking epic walks and I am taking blue cohash and my contactions are not progressing. They will get stronger but then will dissapte as soon as I am not standing. I have made an appointment for accupuncture tomorrow and this baby must come out somehow. This wait is very hard emotionally. I almost started crying this morning when I woke up and realized that I was not having contractions. This baby will come out right??

sprout is DEFINITELY coming out! glad you are not having pain
and tell sprout that giving birth standing up is quite a tall order… and hopefully s/he will let you have labor in a few other positions soon.

Yep. The baby *will* come out. (and thumbs up for acupuncture. It’s what got our first to finally make a showing). As much as you can, focus on rest and conserving your strength, OK? Hang in there both of you. The waiting is crazy-making.

I don’t know anyone that HASN’T had an early labor experience like that lately. My own nearly drove me insane. Fortunately, all ended in babies eventually and yours will too… or perhaps already has??
I’ll be thinking of you and anxiously awaiting the big announcement!

It will come! I was 1 cm dilated and my baby was at 0 station as of 34w4d and took 3 more weeks to come, so don’t get too discouraged with the progress you are making. Sounds like things are moving along really well!

The baby will come out. Although I was pretty convinced that I would be pregnant forever during those last two weeks.
I cried A LOT! Even during doctor’s appointments. It will happen!
