That is what we have over here in Brooklyn. We did a test last night and had a blood test today. We are both really sad – but on the upside I get to go off the progesterone, we are both home from work at 5pm, we ordered Mexican, we have a bottle of good red wine, and we are going to watch Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark (we are going to watch all the old ones before we go see the new one).
Other really good news is that our third niece was born today. She is beautiful and everyone is healthy and happy which brings some comfort on this otherwise rainy, cold BFN day.

Oh, I’m so sorry, that totally sucks.
It sounds like a good evening plan though. And congratulations on your niece.

That totally, totally sucks….I so know what that is like. And it sounds like excellent self-care. Be good to yourselves and each other. This will work someday….it really, really will.

I always felt a BFN was easier to swallow with some wine.
Indiana Jones and the cute chick in the sweaty T-shirt should make you feel a little better, too. Snuggle up together under a comforter. It is chilly and wet here and the perfect day for a cuddle.
PS I also hate the test, then blood phenomenon. It sucks so much more than just plain old AF. Sorry you had to go through that.

So sorry. Here’s hoping for better science projects in the future.

An Indy marathon and some good red sounds like a good idea. Enjoy each other right now.

I’m so sorry to hear this, but you have the right attitude. J and I have a ritual now of drinking wine when we get the bad TTC news. It helps. And just think: you’ll be onto your next round in a matter of a couple of weeks. Still, that doesn’t ease the sting much now. Take care of each other and enjoy your wine.

I’m really sorry. Wine does help. So do margaritas. You WILL get there!

I hope that after the red wine and blue Friday, you were able to get out and about Saturday when the sky–and hopefully your mind–cleared a bit.
The next two weeks do tend to go faster than the previous TTW–at least they do for me!
